Friday a pilot called dunce bucket will appear on Teletoon's Detour website which is part of a program where viewers get to select future content. I was lucky enough to work on Dunce Bucket which is basically a collection of funny animated shorts, made by various, animators, designer at Elliot Animation, the one I directed and designed is called Fifi and Bobo ( the critters above) which was a lot of fun to do, take a look at the animation which was done by my buddy Wes Bryant its funny and nuanced and really steals the show,
Now that being said THIS IS NOT FOR KIDS! I realize most if not all of the stuff on my blog is pretty kid safe, the link to the detour is NOT if you're at the office other then an animation studio seriously headphones
there are a lot of great shorts on dunce bucket done by really talented people

Monster Deterrent

one night my son was convinced that there were monsters coming in to his room, after a couple of chats that there were "no such thing and he should go to sleep",
I decided to install a Monster security system a plush Triceratops at the foot of his bed, you see monsters are scared of triceratops on account of there pointy horns.... the logic is iron clad.

I'm finishing up illustrating my first kids book with Simon and Schuster this weekend which will come out 2010 in the summer (more details as they come),
finished my first week designing at Elliot animation I don't really know how much i can say about the project but I'm "Stoked" to be there.
here are a few drawings, sitting on the desktop some were rejected development designs from various projects
